Professor Jacques Lanarès is Vice Rector of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, in charge of the development of teaching and quality. He is also chair of the Swiss Higher Education Quality Network, the board of vice presidents in charge of quality and of quality executives from all Swiss universities. This board is the body of reference for the Conference of Swiss University Rectors for quality matters. He is also a member of the European University Association pool of experts for the Institutional Evaluation Programme.
