Ann Katherine Isaacsis Professor of Renaissance History at the University of Pisa since 1975. Isaacs was born in Oregon, USA, studied at Berkeley and at the University of Milan. She coordinates the History Thematic Network and Sixth Framework Network of Excellence; she is a member of the Management Committee of the Tuning Europe and Tuning Latin America projects, and is a ECTS/DS Counsellor and Bologna Promoter for Italy. She coordinates a TEMPUS project on introducing Bologna and Tuning methodology in Central Asia.
