Dr. Abdeslam Marfouk is member of the Institut de Recherches Economique et Sociale [IRES] of the Université Catholique de Louvain [UCL], Belgium. His research focuses mainly on international migration and brain drain from developing countries, the impact of skilled migration on source countries, female migration and the contributions of Diaspora communities to their countries of origin. Dr. Marfouk has authored a number of papers, books chapters, research reports and articles in international journals in the field of international migration.
