Andrew Casson holds a degree in European Literature from the University of East Anglia and a Ph. D. in Comparative Literature from Stockholm University. After a number of years in secondary education he worked first as researcher and lecturer in Swedish at Dalarna University, Sweden, and subsequently as head of the School of Education. He currently holds the post of Head of Education and Research. His major development interests focus on widening participation and pedagogical development.
