Dr Joël Gapany studied linguistics and computational linguistics in Switzerland and in the UK, at the Centre for Cognitive Science (Edinburgh). He is associate dean at the Faculty of Letters in the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and is one of the two representatives of the University of Fribourg within the Bologna network at the Rectors’ Conference of the Swiss Universities (CRUS). As a member of the executive committee in charge of the implementation of the Bologna process at the Faculty of Letters, he has gained an extensive experience in curriculum design, with a particular interest in interdisciplinary approaches and methods. Dr Joël Gapany teaches linguistics at the Department of French of the same university.
