Description | Author: Etelka Tamminen Dahl This article describes how the University of Bergen, Norway, has put in place policies and processes to ensure that all its graduates receive the Diploma Supplement, automatically and free of charge as foreseen in the Bologna process. The article provides an analysis of both national and institutional approaches, including the many challenges encountered, in achieving full implementation. The importance of quality assurance in this process is stressed. Finally, based on the experience in Bergen, some suggestions are made regarding possible future amendments to the Diploma Supplement in order to take account of recent developments.
