Professor Andrzej Krasniewski is director of the PhD programme at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, Poland. From 1993 to 1999 he served as associate dean, responsible for the transformation of studies at the Faculty to the 3-cycle system. Since 1999, he has been Secretary General of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (UK) and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (USA).
