Steven Lamberts is Rector Magnificus of Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands and has been professor of medicine at the same university since 1981. He has published over 500 scientific articles, primarily in various aspects of fundamental and clinical endocrinology and cancer research. He has served on many editorial boards and was associate editor of several international journals including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Endocrine-Related Cancer, the European Journal of Cancer and the American Journal of Medicine.
