Carole Probst is research assistant at the Research Service at the University of Lugano, Switzerland. She is preparing a doctoral thesis focusing on the doctorate in Communication Sciences in Switzerland. She was a visiting fellow at the Centre de Sociologie des Organisations (CSO) in Paris and at the Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Her research interests are mainly in doctoral education and science mapping, with a focus on social sciences.
