Miguel Castelo-Branco is Guest Associate Professor at the University of Beira Interior and has been Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences since 2009. He is a MD PhD specialist in Internal Medicine and in Intensive Care. He was a member of the Installing Committee of the Faculty of Health Sciences throughout the development of the project and was also a member of the Medical Education Unit in the Faculty for Clinical Matters. He designed and developed the attitudes and skills programme for the medical degree. He was CEO of the teaching General Hospital of Cova da Beira from 2002 to 2005.
