Gerard Madill is a Policy Adviser for Universities in Scotland and has been a key player in the development and implementation of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework – Scotland’s lifelong learning framework, and the Framework for Qualifications of Scottish HEIs. He was an expert member of the Bologna Follow Up Group’s Working Group on Qualifications Frameworks and jointly oversaw the self-certification of the Scottish HE framework against the Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area.
