Professor Sir Roderick Floud is Dean of the School of Advanced Study in the University of London, President Emeritus of London Metropolitan University and a Vice-President of the European University Association. He was President of Universities UK from 2001-2003. He is an economic historian and a Fellow of the British Academy. He was knighted in 2005 for services to higher education.
