Volker Gehmlich is Professor of Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück, Germany, where he has been closely involved in course development and institutional restructuring, including the introduction of modularization and ECTS. Volker has been involved in EU programmes since 1978, including recent positions as ECTS Counsellor and a leading member of the Tuning Educational Structures in Europe project. He is the author of various publications on the internationalisation of organisations, skill needs, and credit systems in particular.
